동아에스티(대표이사 사장 정재훈)는 지난 21일 브라질 상파울루에서 열린 중남미 최대 헬스케어 전시회 ‘HOSPITALAR 2026’에서 브라질 심장 모니터링 전문기업 ‘CARDIOS’와 원격 환자 모니터링 솔루션 ‘하이카디 플러스(HiCardi+)’ 유통 계약을 체결했다고 22일 밝혔다.
이번 계약을 통해 동아에스티는 기존 파트너사인 CARDIO WEB과 브라질 유통사 CARDIOS와 함께 3자 유통 체계를 구축하게 됐다. 동아에스티는 양사와 협력해 브라질 유통 네트워크와 병원 영업 인프라를 기반으로 디지털헬스케어 시장 공략에 속도를 낼 계획이다.
동아에스티는 2024년 CARDIO WEB과 하이카디 브라질 독점 판매 계약을 체결했으며, 2025년 2월 브라질 보건복지부 산하 국가위생감시국(ANVISA)으로부터 하이카디 플러스 제품 사용 승인을 획득했다. 이후 같은 해 6월 브라질 심장학회 ‘SOCESP 2025’에서 하이카디 플러스를 선보이며 브라질 시장에 출시했다.
CARDIO WEB은 브라질 심장 진단 장비 및 원격의료 솔루션 전문 기업이다. 브라질 내 의료기관 및 네트워크를 바탕으로 활발한 영업 활동을 펼치고 있다.
CARDIOS는 브라질 심장 진단 및 심장 질환 모니터링 분야의 대표 기업이다. 이탈리아 기반 글로벌 심장 진단 및 원격 진단 전문 기업 ‘Cardioline’ 그룹에 편입되며 브라질 및 중남미 시장 내 영향력을 확대하고 있다.
하이카디 플러스는 웨어러블 패치형 원격 환자 모니터링 솔루션으로 심전도, 체온, 호흡 등 환자의 생체신호와 활동 상태를 최대 72시간 동안 연속 측정하고 데이터를 실시간으로 무선 전송할 수 있다. 하이카디 플러스와 함께 제공되는 ‘라이브 스튜디오(Live Studio)’ 소프트웨어를 통해 의료진이 다수 환자의 상태를 실시간으로 모니터링할 수 있다.
Dong-A ST announced on May 22 that it signed a distribution agreement for its remote patient monitoring solution, “HiCardi+,” with Brazilian cardiac monitoring specialist CARDIOS during “HOSPITALAR 2026,” the largest healthcare exhibition in Latin America, held in São Paulo, Brazil, on May 21.
Under the agreement, Dong-A ST will establish a three-party distribution system together with its existing partner CARDIO WEB and Brazilian distributor CARDIOS. Through collaboration with both companies, Dong-A ST plans to accelerate its penetration into the digital healthcare market by leveraging Brazil’s distribution networks and hospital sales infrastructure.
Dong-A ST previously signed an exclusive distribution agreement for HiCardi in Brazil with CARDIO WEB in 2024. In February 2025, the company obtained product approval for HiCardi+ from Brazil’s National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA), which operates under the Ministry of Health. The company subsequently introduced HiCardi+ to the Brazilian market at the Brazilian Society of Cardiology conference, “SOCESP 2025,” in June of the same year.
CARDIO WEB specializes in cardiac diagnostic equipment and telemedicine solutions in Brazil and has been actively expanding its business based on its network of medical institutions across the country.
CARDIOS is one of Brazil’s leading companies in cardiac diagnostics and cardiovascular disease monitoring. The company has expanded its influence in Brazil and the broader Latin American market after joining the Italy-based global cardiac diagnostics and telemedicine group Cardioline.
HiCardi+ is a wearable patch-type remote patient monitoring solution capable of continuously measuring patients’ biometric signals and activity status — including electrocardiogram (ECG), body temperature, and respiration — for up to 72 hours while wirelessly transmitting the data in real time.
Through the accompanying “Live Studio” software platform, medical professionals can monitor multiple patients simultaneously in real time, enabling more efficient remote patient management.
